Welcome back to RAW is Jericho!

So Chris Jericho returned to Monday Night Raw this week and it wasn't a let down. I do admit to getting annoyed with what was going on, as well as Jericho's lack of speech. I've seen some opinions posted online that this was Jericho's response to his return being leaked online. Whatever it was it got people talking and that is something Y2J has always been good at.

Now I don't know what WWE's plan is for Jericho, I can only assume it will be a starting feud with CM Punk over the whole "Best in the world" gimmick. Punk currently claims he is the best in the world while Chris Jericho - in his last WWE run -  was the "best in the world at what he does."

As a fan I have my own ideas of how his return would have been booked, as indeed does everyone else. I for one wouldn't have bothered with the vignettes aired over the last 2 months. I assume this was the idea of HHH as he pushed these with Kharma. Personally I would have had Jericho return at the Royal Rumble as the #30 entrant. I'm still deciding on whether to have him win it or not. It seems the direction WWE are taking is that the Raw Elimination Chamber match is for the WWE Title as it is still undecided if Cena/Rock is going to be for the belt. Smackdown's Chamber match looks set to be who will face Daniel Bryan. The main problem I can see is if the Raw Chamber is for who will face Punk it will be a pretty weak match as Cena won't be in it. It would be Jericho/Miz/Ziggler/Truth and not sure who else. Probably HHH (Taker could return and cost him setting up their WM rematch). Del Rio would have been a cert if it wasn't for his injury. Ryder won't be thrown in and Cena/Kane looks set to end their. Jack Swagger would have to be thrown in but it would be a pretty weak Chamber match. Which is shame as I am a huge supporter of future pushes for The Miz and Dolph Ziggler.

I've written and deleted several paragraphs at this point, too many different scenarios keep cropping up and I have decided I am glad I don't work for WWE creative! Ok, with Jericho returning now here is what I see happening.

Royal Rumble - Smackdown wins, either Barrett, Sheamus or Rhodes. I'm picking Wade Barrett.

Raw EC (if title is on the line) - CM Punk, John Cena, Kane, Chris Jericho, Miz, Ziggler - Punk retains
Raw EC (#1 contender) - Chris Jericho, Miz, Ziggler, R-Truth, HHH, Swagger - Jericho wins

Smackdown Chamber (WHC) - Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Big Show, Mark Henry, Sheamus, Cody Rhodes - Bryan retains

WM28 then looks like this:

WWE Title - CM Punk (c) vs Chris Jericho - Punk retains
WHC Title - Daniel Bryan (c) vs Wade Barrett - Barrett wins

I still think it would have been better bringing Jericho back as #30 in the Rumble and setting up WM vs Punk that way. But that's just my own opinion. Please comment and tell me how you would have booked it, and what your ideas for the matches I have listed would be.

Creativity, and the lack of.

Why is it when you're out and about you can be the funniest, wittiest person the world has ever seen yet when you want to be creative and write you turn into a turd? This has contributed to my now non participation NaNoWriMo this year. Just couldn't develop any sort of ideas at all so I have decided to throw myself into Movember and grow a shit hot handlebar moustache. That will be ginger.

The other reason I can think of that has contributed to my lack of creativity (apathy aside) is the general mundane-ness of my live. Get up, go to work, have a poo, go home, sleep. Even writing this blog is a struggle.

Obviously the answer is to shake things up, be it new job or a different hobby. If only things were free hey?

Oh and Toffee Dodgers are fucking awful.

Hello

Hello and welcome. As you can see by the blog title this will be a place for my inane musings and random thoughts to be noted and published for all to see. The main idea behind this is to get myself back into writing again. I had hoped to take part in the NaNoWriMo event this November but have been unable to find time to write. Hopefully by next November this will not be the case.

NaNoWriMo is all about writing a 50,000 word novel during one month. The idea is to just keep writing and to stop "self-editing". We are all our own worst critics and often will abandon ideas half way through. By just concentrating on the writing and getting a product out the editing can come later. Sounds easy enough I suppose...

I also like wrestling. A lot. Big fan of WWE so you will find I will mention it. A lot. And yes I know it is fake, though I prefer the term predetermined. It is entertainment and I like it. Plus it is so much better than EastEnders or that X Factor bollocks.

I should try and sleep now, have to be up in a little over 7 hours for work. Yay.

Goodnight/Good Morning.
